Door Bolts and Bars

Bolts and bars are a simple addition to any door, and well worthwhile for improving your home’s security. Each type is best suited to particular doors, so have a look below to see what suits your needs:

• Tower Bolt - These are often used on shed and household doors, and are known to be secure locks.
• Straight Bolt - This is a commonly used type of bolt.
• Crompton Monkey Tail Bolt - This can be used on doors but is commonly used on gates.
• Rola Renown - This is suited to be used with wooden French doors.
• Birmingham Bar - This bar is effective in preventing a door from being kicked inwards. If it is attached to an outward opening door, it can prevent chisel and jemmy attacks.
• Multipurpose Door Bolt - This is suited to all types of door, but is particularly suitable for patio doors because of the long bolt throw.
